showcasing Portrait, Fashion and Landscape Photography

About Me

Two years ago I discovered photography and  I haven’t looked back since. My life has become consumed with reading about photography, looking at photography and taking photographs. I’m still honing my skills and refer to many places across the internet and in magazines for further inspiration. Landscapes, architectual, fashion and portrait are my main areas of interest, I’m not Henri Cartier Bresson, David Bailey or Ansel Adams yet but you never know I could get close one day many years away!!!! ha.

Anyway enough about me.. a bit about my blog…

This blog is about me sharing all things photography with you, I don’t know where I plan to take the blog. It’s like the beginning of an unknown maze, but the first thing that inspired me to create the blog was my eagerness to share with you some of the work that inspires me on a daily basis. There are some great photographers out there today who are producing great work day in and day out,  this blog will be a great chance to highlight their skills and also at the same time help me improve mine.

Thanks for reading!

Hello. I’m in my final year of 6th form at a school called Benton Park (in Rawdon, Leeds, England). I have been looking through a range of your photography and I find it really inspiring! My project is to answer the question ‘Does the photographic message change for the better when manipulation techniques are used?’, this can vary from changing the lighting and colour levels to layering images together to create somthing really unusual. I think your work would help me reflect that. Questions I will ask you are those such as, what inspires your thoughts? What sort of manipulation techniques do you use? etc. If you read this message, would you be able to e-mail me stating whether you’re interested in answering a few of these questions or not? Thank you. I hope to hear from you soon!
